Introducing ourselves ... Joy & Pejay ... DJ's on Community Radio here in Australia.

Over the last few of years we have made so many wonderful friends within the Country Music industry. We are Presenters at FM 98.5 The Pulse Of The Valleys, a Community Radio Station out of Shepparton, Victoria, Australia, where our six hour program, “COUNTRY ROADS” goes to air Wednesday mornings 12mn – 6am.

Each week we interview an Australian Country artist and International when it can be arranged..... recently interviewing Charlie Landsborough, Mary Duff, Louise Morrissey, Foster & Allen and Mick Flavin, all great Irish country artists. We are dedicated supporters of Independent artists world wide and commit ourselves to play their music on our programs.

Our thanks go out to the many great people who have sent music to us to promote…including record companies, promoters and the artists themselves.

We are proud to say that COUNTRY ROADS was a finalist in the 2007 X- Awards, conducted by the Southern Community Media Association ..(category – Best Locally Produced Music Program) & in 2008 named Bluegrass Music Presenters of the Year by NiteSky Records in Ohio.

You can also listen to ROCK & COUNTRY JUKEBOX on Thursday mornings from 12mn – 6am.

Both programs are a mix of the good old Classic Country, Bluegrass, Independent artists and Irish Country Music.

Playlists are posted to playlist sites, artists, promotors & record labels worldwide.... totalling over 160.

As well as country music we have a love for the music of the 50’s and 60’s.

Pejay began his voluntary career in radio about fifteen years ago at FM98.5.

His knowledge of the music and artists is vast. Joy has been “on air” for almost six years after first becoming involved with the station as a "phone lady" for a fellow presenter.

We are committee members of the Echuca Country Music Club.

We live in the peaceful town of Nathalia, 40klms north of Shepparton and only a short drive to the Murray River & Barmah State Forrest.

Both now retired from the "paid" workforce, our time is taken up with MUSIC and our combined family.
